Carp Upper double up to 30lb Cats 8-15lb up to 60lb plus LAKE SIZE... 3 acres SWIMS... 15 swims, 1 double for 12 anglers. DEPTHS... 2-7ft PRICE... £28 per night (introductory price for 2023) DURATION... 24hrs plus Georges is our newest specimen water. During the winter of 2022/23 we went to great efforts to drain the pool down to remove all of the silver fish and grade out all the carp under 15lb. We rolled back approximately 200 carp up to 20lb plus and added another 50 young, home grown carp up to 28lb plus. All the catfish were returned to the lake to grow on to be monsters as they are in tara and Avoca. Georges has a clay lined lake bed which is soft in areas. A lot of work has been put into this lake recently, not only with the fish stocks but with the pegs and bankside vegetation. There are some beautiful young weeping willows and Scots pines planted on the 3 islands and around the margins which will mature nicely and fill the skyline in the future.
