Formally a match pool, tara has always been known for its all year around form. This matured lake with 3 islands is the home to approx 110 carp up to 32.8lb and cats up to 72lb with numerous cats over 50lb. Tara has a gravelled lake bed with pockets of shallow silt and is completely weed free. Some of Cudmores oldest and wisest residents are present but the stocks were boosted during the winter of 2022/23 with an injection of young fish between 18-24lb. These fish have added a bit of energy to the pool to bring everything back to life. By September of 2023 one of our stockies has already reached 29lb!
